Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
We support people trying to quit. But we understand those who are struggling or have stumbled in the road to recovery.
Just my opinion.
I don't think that we are supporting each other to harm ourselves, but we understand that slip ups can happen and we should try to help each other and find the best way to cope so we can avoid them in the future.
Most people are good about putting up trigger warnings "TW" if a post is particularly graphic.
I agree with there others, there is more to it then just those who want to quit, but I wouldn't say the group is in "support" of self harm. Hope that helped:-)
This is all just my personal opinion, as I would NEVER encourage anyone to hurt themselves or say that it is a good idea. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy, but its just so good to finally know that I'm not alone.
