I came here looking for honest support and friends that will understand. I've been struggling with this for a very long time and while I appreciate the help I've gotten, I'm tired of hearing the same crap from people who have no idea what I'm going through. In all the years I've been fighting this I've only come across one person who really "got me".. and she was taken from me years ago.
Basically, I want to get through this, and I know I can't do it on my own.
I don't know where to start, though. How to meet people or get the support I need or any of that. I've heard this website can be incredibly helpful so I thought I'd give it a try...
Anyway, I'm just putting this out there because I don't know how else to get started.

ja that's the tough part; finding the right kind of help; it's so different for everyone; what's right for one person may not work for another. There are a lot of different avenues people here try and I'm sure you'll get information on them.
