Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
There doesn't always have to be a specific reason..maybe it really is everything and the whole stress package that they bring.
I think really focus on trying to get some me time to recharge yourself. Also, delegate as many tasks as you can...maybe even suggest they take a walk somewhere whilst you prepare dinner/other task
Remember, they are guests not babies..they don't need your constant attention no matte rhow much they may cry for it.
Do you have a crisis support plan? Do you have a friend who could buddy up with you for their visit?
I think you will do just fine but i know why their visit is making you anxious. If you feel yourself get overwhelmed, pop to the bathroom and try some deep breathing exercises to bring your heart rate down and generally calm yourself.
I hope it all goes smoothly as possible for you
Glad they are gone and that you are hanging on. You are doing amazingly :)
