Besides 1000 days is only like 2 and a half years. thats too short of a time period to accurately portray what an entire life has been or will be like. The average person lives to what like 80 years now? thats 29220 days. 10000 is barely touching the surface.
lets even take out the 15 years you've been alive so far ( about 5479 days), that still leaves you with 23741 days left each with its own possibility (even if minuscule) to be a good day.
according to math, you shouldn't give up after 1000 bad days.
you're only 15. you still have your entire life ahead of you. I don't care how many bad days you have, you still deserve to live.
I know when I was 15, people downplayed my upset -- because I was 15! But, hurt is hurt, and 15 or not, if you are depressed and struggling, you need help. It is not always easy to find help when you are underage, and friends do not seem to always know how to get you what you need. But, there are school counselors, nurses, a special teacher...a friend's parent if your own is unapproachable -- but you must reach out for life if life is what you want to have, and face it...life is all any of us has.
Now, a crappy life makes the fight all the more difficult...but all the more worthwhile, because if you can find a reason to make the day better, and you followthrough, one day, then another, then another...before long, you have built up some pretty decent memories. I was the vicim of sexual abuse long before I reached 15. I was horrifically raped when I was 12. I used up most of my second chances well before I was your age, and it was very hard to find a reson to keep fighting. I can't tell you where to place your trust, but I can tell you that you have to trust someone to help you with your depression and your feelings that death is better than life.
My sister's son committed suicide this year. He was 29. It has ruined his mother. She is not the same person who gave him life and watched as he grew up. She is dead...walking, but dead just the same. Suicide may end your life, but it ends others' lives too. Maybe you hate your parents or don't think you have anyone who cares, so this won't help you. But, no matter how sad you are, there is nothing when you die...no opportunity to come back and do it again...no chance to fix anything. If you believe in God, then perhaps you think it is a good thing to hurry this along to get to heaven...but God has his own timeline for us....I'd suggest you let him make the decision, and...like I said, if you can plan to die, you can plan to live. I hope you choose life. I would like to get to know you better...I'd like to read some of your poems...maybe buy your book someday. My son attempted suicide once when he broke up with a girl he thought he loved. He was 16. He is 31 mow, married with a step-son...and, life isn't perfect. But, s long as there is life, there is hope.
