Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
i wish there was something i could say to you which would make you feel supported, feel whole, feel sane, feel loved. Feel less alone. I understand that "fake it til you make it smile" you are wearing.... so many of us do this. It is easy for me to sit here and say, kiddo, hold on to your future because you will never regret having that degree. Speaking from experience, I only have an Associates and to this day regret not finishing school. Biggest mistake of my life. One of the biggest, anyway. No joke. I am older now and have learned a few things. One day someone actually asked me to not cut any more. I was nearly 40. No one bothered to say that before. It was said out of love. It meant something. So, hopeless25, I hear you, I do not pretend to know your story. I just wish I could help you in some way. I understand cries for help. I understand houses of origin that contain too "many crazy people in one place". But there are people in the world who care and I bet you are one of them. Find your joy... you will.
