What i will say that it is obviously a bad time for you right now and yoiur emnoations are taking their toll on your body. Hopeless25 is correct, you will feel guilt and shame afterwards but i understand how it can be addictive becasue you feel so calm afterwards - its like a fix.
It is actually your body going into shock that makes you feel calmer, and that is not good. it can place great stresses on your body and shock can even kill.
if you are like me it is about cutting rather than taking life.
Please be aware that it could only take one misjudgement to seriously main or kill you.
Think about this and the resulting reminders from the scars - which i feel actually make me feel more like cutting when i see them.
I use ice sometimes to stop myself and it works as the pain you can induce from ice in your fists can be very intense but it doesnt casue scars. If you feel like it give it a try, but whatever you do - be safe.
