Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Take care of it and if you need medical attention please get it.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF PLEASE. these things can quickly become quite serious and dangerous.
Please be carful.
I'm here if you need to talk *hugs*
I'm not trying to be alarmist, but i'm being serious because this is serious stuff. and you refusing to not seek medical treatment is your choice ...but i hope that you can see that it's not taking care of yourself ...i understand needing the pain, the blood...i don't know you well so I'll not pretend to know your motivations, but I do understand... But. this is serious stuff which I'm sure you know. That's probably why you posted. please, just put some thought into how you take care of things like this.
I say these things not to upset you or anyone else, but because I think it needs to be said. what we do can be dangerous...more dangerous that we sometimes intend it to be and we lose sight of that, we lose sight of exactly what we're doing to our bodies and we need someone to say something. so i guess i'm saying it.
sorry for the length of this...it's late by me so i guess i'm a little ramb-ly
Take care ((((huggs))))
If it did scab over, and it was an infection of some sort, the infection could be trapped under the scab and create a cyst like thing that will need to be drained at a doctor's.
