Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Your parents are probably stressed and can't understand why you would've kept it secret! Maybe try writing to them, your feelings, why you couldn't talk.......sometimes getting them to read is better than listening as it gives them time to think.
And don't hate yourself, you're not to blame!!
Try and find someone you can talk too........I've gone to priests(even though I'm not religious) when I couldn't find anyone else.
I'm here too, if you want to chat.
*Hugs*
please dont hate yourself, i went through hating myself and blaming myself for my sexual abuse but its not worth it.
it wasn't your fault, you COULDNT control it, no matter how much you say you could have stopped it, you could not!
and i personally would have bloody smacked that councellor for calling you a drama queen!
if you wanna talk about anything come talk to me, i went through 6 years of sexual abuse and telling my mum was the hardest thing i've ever done, i can relate :)
