Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
I got my medication changed and I believe that had a lot to do with the relapse, but also, the end of the school year while failing some classes.
Last night I broke down and told my mom everything and that I feel suicidal again. She didn't really know what to say. I don't know how much longer I can go on.
Since you can't really do anything about failing those classes, try not to let it linger over you. I know that's easier said than done. If you are still in school I would say do what you can, but you can only do so much! It will be okay. Maybe next year someone can help you in the subjects you are struggling with? Everyone struggles at something!
School can be overwhelming, and then when you're spending so much time and energy just trying to be well (mentally and physically) sometimes school falls by the wayside. I agree with LoveAlice, don't let the bad grades hang over you, and prepare yourself to get academic help in the fall. You might as well focus on enjoying summer while it's here!
I hope playing your guitar still helps you to feel better - keep doing it! Playing music helps me too, along with drawing.
Best wishes for you!
