Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.

I understand why you feel so alone in those thoughts. Part of that is the spiral/deep dark pit feelings on their own. But a lot of it is that if someone really has never had any sort of experience with such deep dark issues they can't comprenend it at all. Which in turn can make you feel more alone. ... But again there are many of us here who have battled this for a long time, and have obviously gotten to the other side of that war-zone. Help is here, and it is given with ease and hope. Please remember that!
Try to take care of yourself this weekend, do a little self-soothing: watch a good movie, take a nice bath, go for a walk - anything that can make you smile or relax even for just a few minutes. You deserve it!

I find therapy a good release instead of cutting, or anything that you love to do that helps distract from cutting or pain. Or if you feel you desperately need help asap talk to your family or call a suicide hotline, please stay strong.
