Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Now instead of just dealing with self-mutilation, you have adapted to another form of self-injury. You did not replace it... you are not doing something that is in the stead of it... you have ADDED on to the list. You now shall be tempted to burn and cut. You have increased the difficulty to get out of this.
I do not mean to criticize, I just want you to understand what you have done. Do everything in your power to not burn. Focus on that... make it priority to not burn. Keep cutting if you need, just do not burn. Don't let yourself be inflicted with two complications. Defeat this newly formed one first, and then work on the original.
