Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Keep using your resources, like your counselor and the others on this site. Is your mom someone you can talk to? Do you have friends you trust? Do you know the number for your local crisis line? You can find the number of chat online at http://www.contact-usa.org/
Hang in there.
For sure if your having bad thoughts its best to talk with your doctor about them. If you think it is the medication as your doctor you you can drop the dose and see if the thoughts and feeling fade.. if not then its most likey not the medication but something else in your life. If it is the medication then you might want to look at other options of medication that will help you better and not leave you feeling worse or not work...
Hope this helps you, talking to your doctor is a must and if they are not listening then ask to have another doctor's thoughts, as it would be very wrong to leave you feeling the way you are, and sometimes other doctors have more experience or have a greater knowledge on certain things.
