Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
I also believe that some individuals, including myself will have lives that are addictive. This will often mean that our addictions will never fully go away but will become dormant. In a fellowship I belong to for another addiction a friend shared that his addiction is in a nursing home at the moment. He described that although his addiction isnt strong at the moment he can not deny the fact that at times it will till raise its head. He also noted, which i strongly support. that our addictions have allowed us to get to this point in life and although they may not be healthy they do need to be given the recognition for keeping us alive.
