A support group for people who may inflict injury upon themselves by cutting for whatever psychological problems.
Okay....... someone needs to start some discussions......... Isn't that the point of a support group?

you know what i think it is. for me the cutting comes from sexual assault and ptsd. i have been on those sites and until now i havent tried to find one for self injury. It has been on my mind a lot today. A few things have, like cutting. Im getting better, and havent cut in like three months so yay. how are you :)

I believe the same thing for myself: sexual abuse of various types and ptsd as a result associated to the terrible I experienced all throughout my childhood. Even though I know this and have made lots of changes and have grown through therapy, etc. I still want to SI. I've been going to some 12 step support meetings and identify myself as "Christy, I'm an addict". It seems to help me some even though I still act on my SI urges. Any feedback out there? It's been several months since I've been on this site. I think I may continue and see how things go.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
