i have bad self-esteem issues, but my mother never puts me down. shes actually quite the opposite and sometimes its annoying. >> lol her mother ALWAYS put her down and would call her fat and all kinds of things and i always put her up. so whats the deal with me?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
so are you wondering why you have low self esteem when your mom never puts you down?
what about other ppl? maybe school, friends, the media. lots of unspoken expectations out there and i guess thats whats putting you down. or is it you.. i dont know. are you a perfectionist?
for example, lots of girls worries about their weight because of the skinny girls/ladies on tv/mags so...
it is unfortunately impossible to ignore all of the negative messages when it is all around you. try ignoring them and focus on who important to you e.g. your mum and listen and try to accept what she is saying to bolster your self esteem?
