Viera and her husband Richard Cohen are featured in an article in AARP magazine. He was first diagnosed with MS in his 20's and is now Secondary Progressive. Excellent article in how they manage their life, what physical issues they face now, and how they have learned to live with MS. In it they talk about SPMS and the cumulative affect of nerve damage over the years. I found the article to be enlightening, helpful, and hopeful. The magazine should be available at your local library, from a friend or parent, or maybe even on-line.
