Yes, I have started to take Vitamin D this year, as I have heard we lack it in the autumn/winter months due to lack of daylight/sunrays on our skin.
It would be a good idea to ask your doctor, as I have heard a lot of different advice on this group, as to how much you should take.
Shellys advice is terrific, although, I personally struggle bigtime with the exercise.

I've been taking Omega-3's for a while. I take 3000 mg a day. I think these help as well. I can tell when I've skipped a couple days. My mood starts going downhill. Oh and walking outside is a good idea even if its cloudy.
