Scoliosis Support Group
Scoliosis affects all ages. Unlike the naturally occurring curves in the spine, scoliosis causes the spine to curve abnormally to the left or right.

My lower back likes to clicks a lot and sometimes becomes numb and painful should I be worried.

it might be like when a chiropracter cracks peoples spines.

the numbness could be the sign of a nerve impingement. I would have it checked out to be sure

i know what you mean. not about the clicking but the numbness. i'm going to the doctor next wednesday to make sure it's nothing serious.

Wish I could help, but I seek advice too. I have an odd burning sensation in my left side that comes and goes. Also my left side is numb.

I would be worried! My shoulders and neck does this. I also get extreme sciatica pain. Mostly in the hip that is lower than the other.

I have the numbness too - maybe it is something related to the curvature pressing on nerves. Also sometimes I drop stuff I have in my hands and I cant explain it. Hope everything starts feeling better. Go to a doc.

Oh, the dropping things....Yup, I do that all the time! Almost like my hands forget that they were holding anything! Oh and this is nothing like when the chiro is adjusting you. Well, if it is, you need to tell the chiro! I had some light headedness for a while when the chiro would adjust my neck. The found out that I had a "new" issue that was putting pressure on my spine. Fixed that and did not have it anymore! Chiro work should not hurt...
