Hi dbrunson. I am here! I have dermatomyositis with overlapping Scleroderma. Sometimes this site is a little dead. I would like for more people to show up more often.

I have pulmonary hypertension, fatty liver, and chronic kidney disease from my Scleroderma. I get severe weakness in the arms and legs from my dermatomyositis. I have had this disease only 4 years. I would be glad to talk with you to share experiences. I forgot to mention, I also have severe osteoporosis, GERD, and Raynaud's too.

Yes, I would love to see this group become more active. Please post and let's share. I was diagnosed in 2012 and am trying to hold my job as long as a can but finding it more difficult all the time. I have CVID, scleroderma with lupus overlap, and sjogrens.

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed at 21 with scleroderma, lupus, RA, fibromyalgia and depression. It is hard to move forward feeling alone but I have been coping with all of this for 6 years now. I am glad to join and have other to talk to.

Hi anyone out there for a chat l have scleroderma with lots of health problems x

I am 50 years old and was diagnosed with Raynuads disease and scleraderma when I was 18. Back then they didn't know much about it or what the causes were so it was untreatable. Today they know a little more about it but it's still untreatable. I was also diagnosed with IBS about 15v years, and until recently I didn't know that they were related. It has also effected my throat, esophagus and stomach but mainly my bowels. Food can be just a nuisance when you have bowel issues. Most times you just would rather not eat at all. The worst part for me is the constant pain I have in my finger where the ulcers are the worst. I find it difficult to function and I miss time from work when because of my stomach issues or because my finger is constantly throbbing and stinging. I try to keep my hand above my head to reduce the throbbing at least, the pain meds just make me tired and depressed. If I had the courage I would take an ax to it and be done with it. That's not crazy thinking it's my reality, when you always in pain you would do anything for it to stop. This one ulcer have has been there since August last year. I am going to be taking to my doctor about amputation. I am hoping if hey can remove my finger then I will be done with the pain (I hope this is not just wishful thinking?). Anyway I am hoping to chat with others who have the same problems.
