Scleroderma is a rare, chronic disease characterized by excessive deposits of collagen. Scleroderma affects the skin, and in more serious cases it can affect the blood vessels and internal organs. The most evident symptom is the hardening of the skin and associated scarring.
I hope that you can find some relief from this, is it related to reynaud's? I have had issues with that before but even that seems to be in remission or as my hubby jokes....I have put on some insulation so the cold doesn't bother me as much......I'd rather be thin again and cold.

Do your hands get red with this pain? I've found that when I raise my hands and feet, the redness drains from them, and they feel somewhat better. I've read people say that's the case in erythromelalgia.
