don't ever let him into your bed again.
find a new best friend who isn't a creep.
most importantly, if you feel violated, go to the police and make a report on him.
i'm glad you found the strength to not allow something even worse to happen.
I am going to talk to my therapist next week to get some extra insight on the situation I can barely nap without waking up thinking hes in my bed again , I have told him to not come back to my house ,
I'm trying to find strength , I have cut him off at this point , I cant stand looking at him or anything
I dont know why I cant go to the cops I guess I just feel as though I should be blaming myself because of the type of person I am , the way I dress and I did let him into my bedroom ,, I just dont know how to not blame myself partly or in whole .. I'm having a hard time coping too scared to sleep or be alone but I dont want anyone near me while I sleep cause I think its him , I see him everywhere I just cant bring myself to say anything to the cops at this point .. I'm just lucky it didnt go any further than it already has
You definately should contact an anti-rape/anti-abuse care organization right away. They usually have numbers in the early front sections of the local phone book, and you can also search online for even more organizations that may even be better and more suited to helping you through the entire thing back to normal stuff.
As far as I am concerned, he did sexually violate your human rights and your body, regardless of which wordlable anybody puts on the act.
If him or anybody else gets close enough to do that to you again, bite his ear as hard as you can if you can. I learned this from a biology teacher.
The jaw muscles are some of the strongest muscles in the human body. If you bite hard enough, the violating person will be so desperate to get away from the biting that they will probably let you go and rush off to get help for themselves at a hospital or clinic.
Hospitals and clinics with proper training will recognize this type of injury as most-likely the result of self defense from rape or sexual assault or sexual violation or date rape or whatever people want to call anything like that.
The person's ear can be repaired even if you bite part of it off, so it is not like a vengeful thing. It is self-defense, and a good type.
That person, may have been a friend in the past, but their sickness is NOT FRIENDLY and is harmful!!! Get a restraining order against them with the help of the anti-rape/anti-abuse care organization(s).
It is not your fault, and even friends or family sometimes do criminal or totally wrong and violating things. This is not an excuse for them. They need to be officially halted so that they don't harm someone else or you again. Also, some would argue that they need to get sex offender therapy in the long run; they are acting out their own sickness and maybe they were abused/violated in their past.
Or maybe they are a sociopath. I don't know. Either way, there needs to be intervention for everyone's sake. You have no shame in this, and have every right to defend yourself against anyone, even people who have been kind in the past.
Violating behavior needs to be halted no matter who the violator is and what they have been like in the past.
Therapy consulting will help you get your life and emotions and sleep back. You are wise to go that route. I respect you, Shanese for seeking that.
You are a human being; you have rights that should not be violated by anyone. We support you on that. We care.
I see him in my dreams and around my house in the shadows ..
I am going to my pdoc appt today maybe he can help me find some ppl to help me out a little
Please please protect yourself and find a new best friend, one who won't try to rape you.
Don't listenn to anyone who says you need to be friends with rapists. They are sick and don't have your best interest at heart.
I'd be cautious going to the police as like you said you allowed him into your bed and he didn't rape you, police are weird about things like that and can end up blaming the victim. If you do keep seeing him and he does end up raping you, the fact that you kept seeing him will look bad against you. Maybe seek advice from a hotline from someone who has actually been through the prosecution process.
But the best thing to do is STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!
