Hi,

I am at the very beginnings of a possible relationship from an online dating site. I have purposely left out my mental illness and homeless history in my profile because no one responds otherwise (and I've gotten few responses anyways)....I did the following once after the beginning of my "recovery" = which was not to say a thing until I got further involved and then to reveal my mental illness.....It worked once (it turns out she was on meds for depression) and the person I am planning to meet up with is a therapist....but I still don't want to say anything right away. I mentioned that I am about to take a book publishing workshop for the memoir I wrote detailing my experiences....she may be currious as to what's in or why I would write a memoir...I will give the usual answer which is I don't dfiscuss what I am in the midst of writing (though this is pretty much finished. I think)....So I am asking all of you if you think my "strategy" is wise??? or have any suggestions....?? thanks, Max.
