That is called though intrusion and is a symptomof sz. Please do not do what the thoughts say. It will not appease "them". You need to talk to someone. Call your doctor or go into the hospital if you are needing to injure yourself...that is not okay. Please take good care of yourself. You are important no matter what the thoughts say. This is very serious. A med tweak might be the answer. I am thinking of you as I was a self-injurer too and had thought intrusion and I know what you are going through. There is a solution other than hurting yourself. Please dont hurt yourself anymore. (((HUGS))).

I think maybe I really need to be reevaluated and given some kind of diagnosis, dr just keeps giving meds for each new symptom I tell him.
Am on 500mg seroquel, 10mg Abilify and 200mg pristiq.... and is all that seems to happen is they get increased every time i see dr.
Maybe just need to be out of this world...that would be the ideal answer right now. How much longer can I go on like this.

You know that only God knows when you are to leave this world and He will take you home in His own time. While you are here keep on fighting. Maybe ask your doctor if you can try a different coctail of meds. Be honest that you are feeling worse and dont feel they are working. Keep on fighting the struggle. you can make it!

I think your doc is doing the right thing. If you are having those kinds of intrusive thoughts, then taking antipsychotics is the most important thing you can do. Unfortunately it often takes a lot of trial and error before you find the right combination that works for you. Give the ones you are trying now several weeks and then decide if they are working or if you need to try something different. It may take you a while, but eventually you will find something that works. You may also want to talk to your doc about therapy. Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) will not stop your thoughts, but it could help you learned to not be bothered by them as much. Also listen to plywood. She is right!

Voices can be external, subconscious and mental in most cases when they are negative self destructive and life threatening it's time to ask for help.

I'm inclined to say go to emergency first to get someone to look at the arm and to talk about it all to see if you just need that extra support while they get the meds sorted. Then contact your Pdoc if they think you are doing O.K. Best of luck with this.

Had a good scene explaining the mental voices. A girl was chatting up the boss. In addition, explained to Roseanne that a strange voice had come up in her head and said that this is the person for her. The thing is the boss had just come out of the closet the week before. Generally, this type of thing was common with me in my teens to late 20s So always could relate.
