Perhaps it's time to increase your meds or time for a med switch. When is your next psychiatry appointment? I am sorry you are going through this.

I can't see my psych until July 11th. So, it's a ways away; which really sucks. I really need to see him. I am going to call tomorrow though to see if there's anything else they can do for me.

I am having similar voices too. I think if I tell my pdoc about what the voices are saying and about what my psychologist says about me having paranoid delusions that I will end up in the hospital. Just trying to get through the day.

sometimes if you ignore the voices and take your medicine it helps. I hear voices of my family so its confusing if they are really talking to me or not. I used to hear negative voices but thankfully it doesn't happen anymore. yet i panic whenever i hear the voices.

Mabey focus on feeling good. If you feel good u dont have time to be depressed. After you find a way to feel good, whatever it is, for me its med combos, and dosages. I also use other things. I had a big problem feeling good, becuase guilt would always keep me from letting my self go. You can learn to keep your emotions under your feet. You can choose to feel, or not feel. Be numb, be hard, care or dont care. Not caring doesnt mean your a bad person , it just means u take emotions out of the picture. The root of worry is care. If you dont care about something it cant even hurt you, it cant touch u. The bible says be carefull for nothing. You can still love and take actions in love with your intellect without emotions being in the picture. The biggest part of my recovery was dealing with guilt, low self esteem, permission to be strong, lonliness, and all these other pyhcological things that the meds dont really fix. I fixed em with god. YOu have to be self sufficeint if your going to be happy . Thomas Merton said life consist of "learning to live on ones own, spontaneous , free wheeling. This basically means knowing who one is and being at home with one self. All this seemed impossible to me for 15 years from eighteen diagnosed with schizo, to thirty years old. Its been a process for me, slow, and tedious. I never knew when it was going to end or what i was doing half the time, but if you keep learning, all that stuff stores itself in your brain. Eventually even your subconcioius can put all these pieces of the puzzle together and find a solution for you unconciously. Thats a deep, but its just my theory. Hang in there and just try to find things that make you feel good. I dont care what it is. Just feel good. We suffer to much. Feel good and be happy. Harder said then done for me at times, but its a good goal to have.

I'm afraid to tell you that I know exactly how you feel!! I just try to ignore these voices!! However that is sometimes easier said than done.

Sometimes the voices tell me that my hubby hates me...because when I try to assert myself always backfires on me and that if I do it often enough...he is going to leave me...for someone a little less argumentative!!
