I guess you could say I'm not in the best of mental states right now. But I dont want to call the ambulance and I dont want to go to the hospital right now. I just feel so depressed and I want to die now. I'm so ashamed of my life and where I feel its headed that I just cant take it anymore. I'm way too ashamed of myself and the things that I've done to try and be happy that I just want to die and I cant help it I've held these feelings back way to long and they come out every now and again, thats when all hell breaks loose. I'm sick and tired of being on pills to sustain my life and I'm tired of not being happy I figure the only solution is to just die and do it quickly before anyone else notices that I want to. Lots of people like to cut and my choice is to choke just to calm my nerves I think I should just go and choke myself for a few minutes and maybe I'll feel better but if that doesnt work I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Im inclined to say do ring up one of the counseling lines as physical talking to someone is a better and easier to talk through what you are going through and what you have gone through to get to this point then the internet. For many reason including privacy but one of the things they will ask if you feel like your lives in danger do go to emergency. I do agree on that one and one of the main things to look out for with is when you start making plans to you know what. Although there is a big difference in saying youre going to do and being able to do it sometimes it just frustration which is where talking does help.

It is so frustrating to offer support when you are going or have just been through the same thing. I really can understand where youre coming from. But will post what I sent a new friend on DS recently its a case of depression being a thought process sometimes rather than an emotional one and breaks down the thought process so you can be aware of when youre doing it and the file is a PDF http://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/docs/CBT_JillianBall.pdf it was given to me by a offline friend a short while ago and I found it on the net. I found it a very good read. The website it comes from is http://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/ its an Aussie site but one of the best with help on depression

You may want to come back to it later when your thinking clearer but it is a very good read.

I will read it as soon as I get another chance to. I saw my therapist and am feeling much better today.
