Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception of reality and by significant social dysfunction. Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
I have been having some serious hallucinations and delusions. I see some pretty gruesome things and I am scared of some serious things. Sometimes all I can think of is screaming or some sort of bloody hallucination. Thankfully I have an appointment with my psych this week. He will have to increase my meds again or even add another. With all this craziness going on in my head, who knows what will happen next.
i'm glad you're going to see your psychiatrist this week, and i hope a med tweak will make you feel better.
