Do not carry a weapon. No one is going to hurt you. Not everyone carries weapons. No one is talking about you. If you have a therapist this would be a good thing to bring up in therapy. The reason I am telling you this is I am a crime and justice major. I am telling you if you hurt someone with a weapon you will be in so much trouble with the law. The only way hurting someone is self defense is if they attack you first. If you feel threatened take your dog with you if you have one. You can also pretend to talk on your cell phone. No one is going to bother you. I am serious. You need to concider another solution. I would suggest a small can of hair spray in your purse. If someone attacks you, it would hurt their eyes like pepperspray, and give you time to escape. -mona1200

I just dont want to be vulnerable to these people so if they try which I'm sure they will soon I'll be prepared for it and I can save myself. Maybe something small like a pocket knife a lot of people carry those.

You can do that, but beware - you will end up in hospital or prison if you use it. This feeling will pass - it always has done in the past :) just give it some time then have another think is my suggestion.

I would think about it more but the more I do the more obsessed with it I become it just makes more and more true hour by hour minute by minute

Shanese you have to try to change your thought so at least you are not obcessing on this subject. You know that you are sick right now, know that you are not thinking straight, relax, no one is going to hurt you. If you carry something the potential for you or someone else to get hurt esculates don't take that chance.

I understand what you are going through. I wish I could give you some tips on how to help this feeling, but my psychotherapist hasn't given me anything on how to deal with paranoia. Sleeping at night can be difficult is you are paranoid, so if you're not getting enough sleep, talk to a doctor... but if you are, I wish I could help.

You dont need a weapon honey. That would be unsafe for you. Please believe us when we say nobody is going to hurt you. You are sick with the worst mental illness one could have and it is reeking havoc with your mind. If you want, carry your keys with one poking out like a claw. That could gouge someones eye out and keep them away from you if you have these intense feelings but is safe for you. I hope you get better soon and these symptoms subside.

I wish I could prove it to y'all but I wouldnt know how. I shall just do the key thingy for now so that I dont get arrested or anything.

GOOD! Keys in hand is not considered a deadly weapon so you won't go to jail...UNLESS you just attack someone you THINK is going to hurt you. That will land you in jail regarrdless of the device you use.
Prison is no place for mentally ill. For reacting to your symptoms you will just be put 'in the hole' for behaving badly. A dark alone place. So look down the road a bit. You don't want to go there. DO NOT attack anyone...you can defend yourself only if someone has already hit you. And carrying a weapon is illegal anyway unless you have a special permit to carry. It's good you decided to not have a knife as people suggested. It will only bring you trouble and heartache.
I hope you get medical help/meds to help with your symptoms. That would be the best way to go.
