I am a spouse of someone with a very recent possible diagnosis of schizophrenia. He has suffered several characteristics of paranoid schizophrenia, such as thinking his spouse (me) was cheating and doing whatever he can, (to very uncomfortable and excessive lengths) to try and prove it; thinking that neighbors and even loved ones are out to "get him" and plotting against him; blackouts, wherein he acts completely against his normal character, and says and sometimes acts in vile and cruel ways; plus visual, physical and auditory hallucianations.

Being as I am his spouse, I have received the blunt of his outburts and am struggling to keep my head afloat with my own mental health issues. To exacerbate the problem, I am pregnant and struggling with severe mood swings induced by hormones, on top of having a severe mood disorder myself. 

I guess what I am looking for is advice. How to go about helping him through this turmoil, while keeping my own mental health stable, my marriage together, my family sane AND safe, and being a better support advocate for him. Or at least searching for a vent for the frustrations and pain this is causing, even though we have a support group here, it's different to talk to people who are outside and ubiased plus have firsthand experience.
