Dont know if should say crazy. Just try to make light of it. Hopes okay.
My pdoc wont prescribe benzos. Now i understand that they are dangerous. I also understand that for some people they are not even nearly as dangerous as for others. Im one that was on xanax for about four months from a differernt doc when i lived down south more. My sense of self responsibility cause me to work and when the emabarrasment, akwardness, anxiety, and misery set in ...id fight to it like it was an obstacle to over come, and kept working.. Now i fight more when i reach that point for my diginity, my well being, and my happiness. So at the time i was working the xanax let me focus...just humming along , saying hi to everybody....whistlen my own tune ..and merrrily doing my job really well. Then went to detox for the xanax. Doc said took to much. Absolutely no withdrawals. Kept waitin for me to go into seizures, but never had a ounce of anxiety the whole couple weeks in the detox. Now know that all the benzos besides librium..weakest...safest.....they all have more of an adverse reaction that makes me overly anxious and anxiety. I drank a lot, still drink to deal with my stress. Go to the ER sometimes for withdrawals, and prescribe me libruim. Its like rolling down the road, on a brand new set of tires, on a brand new paved road....the smoothest ride ever.....thats how my thoughts go when take libruim. Does anybody think my peticular pdoc is way to cautios? I mean this stuff would change my life for the better sure of it...if i had to id get off on detox. Just dont get it. got to find another pdoc mabey , but got be carfull because he's the only one i found in my search that takes my insurance......seroquel, risperidol , celexa these meds with out insurance are upward of 8oo$ per month.

I don't know why some pdoc's are resistant to prescribing benzos. Sometimes if they know you have abused drugs in the past they wont because you have an addictive personality (not YOU just someone in particular.) My pdoc is pretty liberal with the benzos. I take 2mg 3tid so a total of 6 mg of klonopin a day. I am addicted....but I really don't care. They are not hurting me they are just making me less severely anxious. And that is their purpose. so it makes no sense to not used them when you are suffering with terrible anxiety.

Right. Thats what i think to. The whole addictive personality thing is bs. But your right, becuase i was sent to detox for the xanax, think thats the reason my pdoc wont write me a script.
