I have been deemed a candidate for Clozaril. What are some of the side effects you have experienced with this drug? What are some of the symptoms relieved by this drug? It is really important for me to see how other people have handled this drug.

Never took it, but have only heard wonderful things besides weight gain (as with most antipsychotics) and the frequent blood tests to monitor it.

& it is one of only two meds deemed by the FDA as anti-suicidal, one being Lithium, and the other Clozaril.

Really super fabulous from everything I have read/seen/heard of in regards to treatment resistant schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder.

I did five yeearss out of hospitalon it then I had ared test.
Good for voices, delusions and paranoia.
Sedative - couldn'/t get up earlyin the morning onit.
dOiing weight-watchers on clozaril I lost70lbs
