Hurray! I also have weight to lose , a little . I usually get addicted to exercise for a few months then something distracts me and habits change ..working extra shifts , house repair , lack of sleep , I take on new studies for personal reasons which are very tough to do with voices constantly distracting.
I wish you well with weight loss efforts ..steamed veggies and rice with a variety of beans.

I dropped Seroquel one year ago it was a gradual decline over last winter..i lost 8 pounds in two weeks..then diet and exercise helped more.
some days I would just not sleep but am back to sleeping adequately most of the time 4 hours in the morning and a little in the evening..I work nights .

so happy for your weight loss. I have lost quite a bit of weight it has taken me two years to loose what i have lost which is about 60 pounds. I say about because my weight has been fluctuating by 4 to 5 pounds up and then down this summer is time for a serious diet and exercise.

When my P-doc put me on an antipsychotic I ballooned up from 190 to 300 in a little over a year. He started me on Seroquel but I developed tremors so he switched my to Zyprexa which made my blood sugar rise and my weight. My Schizophrenia is not manageable by much else I am on the maximum dose of Zyprexa and abilify and Lexapro. I recently said enough is enough and started eating better and trying to leave my house but when I cant I walk up and down my stairs and lift dumb bells. You know how it is on those days when the voices are to loud.

Sorry ADD too. I have lost 10 pounds 1n 10 days so hopefully I can get down to 250 by December.
