Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
As for driving - if you're falling asleep at the wheel, that a BIG NO-NO! You shouldn't be driving. My doc put me on a higher dose of gabapentin and I fell asleep mid-conversation with my hubby. I would never drive like that! If you feel ANY hesitation in driving, DON'T do it. The last thing you want is to get into a terrible accident or get pulled over by the police.
If you're concerned at all about getting addicted to this particular medicine, talk to your pdoc about it. You shouldn't be worrying so much. It increases cortisol levels in your body and makes you stress out more.
