Schizophrenia Support Group
Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception of reality and by significant social dysfunction. Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
Most likely there are not killers in your house. You are hearing things. Believe me if they wanted to kill you they wouldn't be hiding, they would just kill you and get the hell out of there.
Also if you are feeling homocidal you need to go the the ER or talk to your pdoc asap. That is very bad and is treated the same as when you are suicidal although the conciquences of you killing someone are much more rigid than trying to kill yourself. How would you like to spend the rest of your life in a prison for the criminally insane? The people there would be awful and a lot scarier than hallucinations because it would be real. So get some help. Please.

You're probably right but I still feel a little uneasy about the situation I get bad nerves about it when I'm awake by myself I think my solution is to just go to sleep before everyone so I'm not the only one awake so I don't get scared.
Yes you're right again but really don't want have to check into another hospital I'll be seeing my pdoc on monday and hopefully she can straighten everything out for me before it gets worse. Hospitals help but I ont want to go back.

They are just voices. From your brain. No need to act on them and end up in prison. Besides killing is not only illegal but immoral. Voices are like dreams. You can't control them but when they are done nothing is different. They are just visions and are not real. My daughter doesn't even feel anything when she hears them. Some are nice, some aren't. But either way she ignores them and doesn't get emotional about them. She knows they aren't real and only in her mind. She dismisses them and goes on and is much happier now that she has control instead of them.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Re: smells. I smelled rotten nuts for a long time when I was a child. Then finally many years later I read that is a symptom of chronic sinus infections which I had. I do understand what you are saying that this is part of schizophrenia, but rarely can occur as a symptom of sinus.
