Since Putin claims the war is necessary to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO, if Ukraine was brought into NATO mid-conflict there would be no more excuse for Russia’s war against Ukraine. If that is against the rules, when did Trump or Putin ever play by the rules? NATO could successfully defend Ukraine against the current state of the Russian army, even if the USA did not participate. The worst case scenario is that Trump would abandon NATO and join forces with Putin, but at least the lie with which we have all been manipulated would then be exposed for all to see. In case that happens, Canada, Australia, and Mexico should be prepared for simultaneous invasion of the USA. California would probably make ports available for invading forces. Everybody hates Trump, except MAGATSs. WWIII fascists will go down pretty much like they did in WWII, and we are tired of being threatened with it by every jumped-up real-estate developer in the White House.

I tire quickly of the sanctimonious religious types who hang around, preclaiming their vapid opinions about souls, or what God wants. Saying a prayer is literally the very least effective and least effort expendable toward any desired result. I pray they go away. A few will take offense and leave to annoy someone else, but others will come to take their space and waste the oxygen.
