we just created this group because the abuse is so different from standard sexual abuse. 6 of my eight children have been ritually abused by my ex husband, obviously without my knowledge. we are fighting hard to make the police listen. what is your story.

brave hearts have a great resource thats about 30 pages long on how to heal from this type of abuse. its in australia and if you call them they will send it out.

are you still stuck in it? that would be SO unfortunate! i know my friends some of his brothers and sisters are still involved and ordered by the courts to return to their abusing parents. Its so dodgy! i hope you are free.

I am most certainly NOT free...in fact I must travel back to my families home town for the Christmas break and Mother has already started in on the "you know what's coming" stuff. It is NO good...I don't know what to do...if I don't just go and get it over with...they (the abusers) will come up to my home...and hurt me. I either go and get it over with...or I wait for it to happen here...ugh! I honestly don't believe that it will ever stop until they are dead...and that can't come too soon! Sorry!

I am not stuck in it but certainly am not free from it (I relive it every day in every sensory mode). I do still receive death threats warning me to not talk. Due to bad experience with being judged and a personal attack on DS (not on this board) I'm afraid to say much. I'm very vulnerable and on the edge. However, it is important to know I'm not alone. Not that it makes it any better but to be validated. Nobody seems to understand us. I believe it would be safe to say our abuse has been long term, twisted and physically sickening. I know I have problems with anxiety, panic, dissociation, flashbacks, paranoia and depression; to name a few. Do you others feel the same?

Dealing with Satanic Ritual Abuse is not something the ordinary therapist is trained to do. Most of them don't believe such things really happen. To get help and heal from this type of abuse requires someone who has some very specialized training in trauma and dissociation (which often comes with this type of abuse). For that reason, I would suggest you all take a look at a website that's sponsored by the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (www.isst-d.org/). They have a Find-A-Therapist area on this site where you can locate a therapist in your area who has received the kind of training necessary to deal with this kind of abuse. I hope this information proves helpful to some of you. It was a God send to me and got me working with an incredible guy who is extremely knowledgeable about this kind of thing.

Charli: Thank You! I visited the ISST web-site and there is a wealth of information there. Since I can only read for about 10-15 minutes at a time it may take me a while. But it will be a goal of mine. I had actually had DBT training with one of the therapists listed in my area. Again, mucho gracias Senor.

you are all so brave and i dont know as humans how we can survive this but we can and will and not let this disgusting acts that are done to innoncent victims be quiet anymore i am still fighting it i have to i cant let these monsters get away with this once again i believe god is more powerful and this will be exposed and all the filthy corrupt judges abd police and so called child protection will be exposed if any one wants legal help i can help

You're very welcome, my friend. I hope something in the ISSTD information proves helpful. That's where I found my therapist, and he quite literally saved my life. My guy has worked with THOUSANDS of ritual abuse survivors over the 30+ years he's been in practice, and he's familiar not only with ritual abuse ceremonies, but he also knows how to treat the aftereffects, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (what they used to call Multiple Personality Disorder). I don't know that every therapist shown on their "Find-A-Therapist" list is this good, but they are all a whole lot better than the average therapist you'll find on any other source listing. All of their members have had very specialized training in working with trauma survivors, so you'll be able to get a lot more done with these folks than with anyone else. Good luck to you, Iced!

I was in a bad situation as I grew up and am now in a relationship with a wonderful girl but we are having a hard time dealing with my past ( nightmares, mood changes, and paranoia) I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on this.

My abuse story is different-my heart goes out to all of you. You are so brave. I have been followed, threatened and harassed by Satanic Cult members for years, as the area I live in seems to favor them. Some of them, as you know, use paranormal tricks and telepathy to torment also, and I have been subject to hearing and even at times, seeing things that are strictly from the pit of Hell. One afternoon a teenager in cultish garb (Goth) came up to me and said, "We want to sacrifice you for Halloween." I know my stories will be validated here, but even my husband finds it very hard to believe.
