Sarcoidosis Support Group
Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.
Although I have many sx as most of you now reading through all the post I'm still living in Limbo Land ! I was just looking over a Brain MRI that I had done back on 9/21/2010 and at the bottom of the findings it reads ~
there is no abnormal enhancing lesions seen except for relatively increased enhancement of the pituitary infundibulum which is of questionable significance although this may commonly be seen in Sarcoid and histiocytosis.Clinical correlation is recommended in this regard.
I have Leukocytosis and have been seeing a cancer Doc for this just to rechk it every so often.I also have wounds that wont heal so my GP sent me back to her last week for more test so she and the GP agree to do a BONE MARROW BIOPSY ~ MY ? is ~
Is it possible to find Sarcoid within the results/findings of this Biopsy ?

Sore Feet like walking on eggshells ~ my DX Bursitis
Bad Acne , IBS , Bronchitis often that takes a few mths to go away.
Chronic Fatigue often , Left side weakness for a few yrs now.
I've had vertigo a few times in the past.eye/vision problems.I do have BIH ( pseudotumor )Optic neuritis / migraines DX'ed 4/2010 I had a LP shunt put in 5 mths later.
I have problems w/ balance. Very weak at times again more on left side.Also this is becoming a problem on right side now.
Sharp shooting pains often.Spasm's all over/Charlie horse like cramps mainly in left calf.Numbness,tingling all over, pain in knees all the time feet,elbows,hands,fingers,legs both side are weak,achy sometimes they burn go numb.insomnia bad at times. This has all gotten worse over the last 5 yrs but all started about 12 yrs ago.& This all started back then with what I thought was the Flu and flu like sx that really never went away! After over 6 mths it did subside but kept coming back every few mths over a few yrs until it just never went away.Not to mention the many other crazy sx and pains that come and go some lasting mins to weeks or mths.Some come back and some have not.

I am possibly going to be having bone marrow bx of my shoulder or iliac.
How was your recovery of biopsy?
