Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.
My ACE test came back it was 28 Doc. says thats pretty normal.I've had this test before and it showed nothing so I'm a little confused My RA test came back alittle high also showing RA no,didnt get the # she just said it was elavated.My thyroid keeps coming back just under normal Poss Hypo have to keep an eye on it.My Vit. D way to low..
Do you know if your rhumitoid factor is positive? I'm guessing that you have an elevated C reactive protien and sed rate since the rhummy said that you are elevated.
My vit d has always been low too. If you start vit D supplements it can help with pain so i've always been a fan.
Alot of people with sarc exspecially women have hypothyroid due to to sarc grandulomas in their thyroid. Its good you have some answers to some of your symptoms tho. Hypothyroid can explain a good chunk of it.
I'm not saying you have sarcoid but i just wanted to make you aware that some of this stuff is normal for sarc. If your rhumitoid facor is positive then RA could explain it too.

I believe my ACE was elevated as well as a fungus. Thats how my sarc dx was started.
Vit d was low, but i live in WI.
And everything else normal.
