Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.

I feel the same When I was first told I had this No one could help me or answer my Questions.
and till today I still like to no
I have been dealing with this for over 20 yrs and because of it I had to stop working

I THINK, NO, I KNOW THE REASON THERE IS NOT A CURE OR BETTER MEDS AND INFORMATION FOR SARCOID, IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE MONEY MAKER LIKE SOME DISEASES SUCH AS CANCER ETC. THE DRUG COMPANIES AND RESEARCH GROUPS CAN'T MAKE A BIG PROFIT. MAYBE SINCE THE DEATH OF BERNIE MAC, OUR PLIGHT WILL GET MORE ATTENTION AND RESEARCH.

I agree with all of you. It is very frustrating to go through what we have to and to be told that they do not know why or how to fix it. My drs at least have been honest in saying that they cant fix the problem but can help with the symptons. It can make me go crazy thinking that there are so many of us and when I got sick and everyone I told not one person know what it was. I mean I had never heard of it either but yet I have heard of Lupus and from my understanding they have alot in common.
