Rosacea Support Group
Rosacea is a common but often misunderstood condition that is estimated to affect over 45 million people worldwide. It begins as flushing and redness on the central face and across the cheeks, nose, or forehead but can also affect the neck, chest, scalp or ears.
But we are better than our skin disorder! I am trying a new herbal thing next week. I will let you know how it works.
Take good care Pippilotta and take comfort in knowing you are not alone.
Hugs
Karasal
Please let me know how the herbal thing works out...I will try anything!
Thank you for the friendship add. I appreciate that. :)
For sure you are not alone in this struggle. I have lost friends due to this disorder. I tell people I am only red, not contagious. Wow some people! Oh well good riddance I guess.
Well so far the herbal supplement works slow but sure. It is called Bell #60 for skin disorders that helps acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, etc. I find there is less redness and the big bumps on my face seem to be gone for now. I started to use it last Sunday and I am a bit impatient so I want it all gone now!
The website is BellLifestyle so if you google it, you will find it helpful. And I saw testimonies that claim it helped the users of that product. I will wait til I have used it more and see if there are signifcant results, but so far so good. I just want it gone now LOL.
the product cost me $29.99 plus tax but I am glad I bought it. NOthing else worked so I hope this does. It works from the inside out and cleans the blood instead of a topical solution on my face. No side effects at all. But that's what I am using for now.
Thought I would come and let you know and will keep you posted on the progress of this product.
Have a great day and take good care
Karasal :)
I'm mortified to get out of the shower around my boyfriend since hot water is my biggest trigger. Its exhausting always thinking about how red my face is at any particular moment.
You're not alone.
I haven't found anything to noticeably reduce the redness, but I have found prosacea gel works wonders on the little bumps. Hang in there!
I love you for posting this :)
I really hope this helps please do your own research too read about how important vitamin A is for the skin.
25,000 IU vitamin A a day

I started reading others posts and my heart just goes out to the authors. But in reading this post, I found a lot of similarities between the MS group and your group. No we are NOT contagous. You'd be surprised how many people don't know about MS and ask that question. People thinking you are drunk because of your red skin: how about people thinking we are drunk because we cannot maintain any balance. Hot showers trigger your skin to go red; hot anything, even 1/2 degree above normal body temperature can cause our MS symptoms to come out.
You'all on this Board have such a comraderie that is commendable. The MS board is also always full of members touching our hearts and letting us know that we are not alone.
I just wanted to let all the authors of this thread to know that I enjoyed your input to this post. Remember, you are beautiful, inside and out!
I am having such a hard time dealing with this. I am not sure why other than maybe I feel I am going to get hideous.
I am also trying to understand it and the fact that they say there is no cure and really don't understand how it starts.
I also don't have much at home support. So I am kinda ah just kinda. LOL
