Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever Support Group
Rocky Mountain spotted fever is the most severe and most frequently reported rickettsial illness in the United States, and has been diagnosed throughout the Americas. The disease is caused by Rickettsia rickettsii, a species of bacteria that is spread to humans by hard ticks.

My diagnosis was in September of last year, but I suspect that I'd had it for nearly 3 months prior. I've been through two 30 day rounds of Doxy, and the bad days have greatly outnumbered the good days. I wish I had something more encouraging to offer.
I did just start an anti-inflammatory diet. After a week of herxing, I've had a couple pretty good days, for what it's worth.
