okay, went to cardioligist to due a stress test to make sure Im okay to do the biopsy on my lungs next thursday. I wasent there for 10 minutes and he says Ive got a blocked artery ! so now I have to go do the stint or stints this tuesday. and from there go do lung biopsy, all in the same hospital. I just laughed at him when he told me, he probabley thought I was crazy(which I am) but I just said nothing is gonna surprise me anymore doc...I dident want to have this done on tuesday because it will be 2 yrs tuesday that my mom passed away. well I called my Brother in arkansas to see what he thought about all this and get a good cry out. and hes a R.N. he says he thinks the reason they cant get rid of the pneumonia is from the backup from the blocked artery.I sure hope hes right. when it rains .it pours! I feel like a car, breaking down one thing after another.maybe I need a major overhaul, lol. my husband thinks its a conspiracy. and they all want money. hes in denial still from the R.A going on 2 years ago, hes somethig I tell ya.I am glad they found the blockage, that could have been a heart attack or a stroke for sure! well everybody, thanks for letting me get all this stuff off my chest, please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep you all in mine. Wow that is a lot for your body to take in.....I am so sorry. I bet it is the reason u can't get rid of the pneumonia :(

When I saw your title, I thought "we will believe it, anything can happen" then I read it and I was shocked still!

Well, that makes some sense. Are they checking all your major arteries to be sure there is just the one when they do the stint? Kinda like an exploratory/procedure combo?

It's scary but NOW YOU KNOW WHY your pneumonia wouldn't heal - first the doctors had to find this. You've got a lot of living to do and needed that cardio test.

Gotta say (and not for the first time), I'm VERY impressed with your medical team.

Tina, thank the Good Lord your doctors are finding out what is wrong with your body and now they can take action to remedy the problems.

I know this is a tough thing to handle with all you have been through lately, but truly Thank God that this was found and could be handle through preventative treatment from a heart attack or stroke vs the treatment for after such a devastating problem. Prayers for you and all you are dealing with.

I haven't been on here much lately so I'm not sure what all has been happening with you. I can tell you I will be thinking of you and sending healing thoughts your way. If all this has been going on for a while you will probably feel so much better when it's taken care of. Good luck and good health to you!

Talk about Crazy..........Couldn't breath (had pain when taking deep breaths). Hospital said pneumonia...3 hrs. LATER (after antibiotic trtmnt) "no" it's NOT pneumonia. Said I had narrowing of artery. Wanted to do a angigram (sp). I left hospital told my PC what went on and she said just take Lipitor.
However, I found that the pain was from Fibro. Took my Fibro meds and the pain left.

I am so happy and impressed that they found the blockage so quickly ard are going to get it taken care of. Will be praying for you, sweet girl. Remember...one day at a time.
