You might want to try contacting the company rep, if your insurance won't cover it.
In Canada, if the doctor prescribes it, and it is on the list of meds that are paid for, it is automatically covered. The USA has a weird system, where the insurance decides what you should be on, sometimes, instead of the doctor.
Oh, yes, it did not work at all for me!
It then cost me nothing as they covered what insurance didn't. Be certain you have been registered and are active before ordering though as they do not cover the costs of previous refills before your active date.

MarleneJ you are so right when you say here in the US it is the insurance companies that control out lives and what meds we should and should not taken according to their standards. Very sad.
