Hey all,

Do you ever get a major case of the blues? I'm having a major pity party today. It's almost laughable. I think I need to get in the car and drive around and look at God's beautiful scenery for a while and let God's beautiful artwork minister to my soul.

Is this a part of RA?

You are doing the right thing...take the drive and look all around you. God is great and He is there for us. I need him soooo badly most of the times.

Yes...RA will cause you to feel like that because your body is dealing with so much. Just know that it will go away and you will feel better soon. For me, I will take a drive to the beach and sit and watch the waves....it's like taking my Prozac without the pill. God is Great!!

I am sorry you are feeling so down lately. I too get this more often than I care to admit! I just give myself a little reality check that I could be so much worse off than I am. That usually does the trick.
I live in NC also and am itching to drive to the mtns to check out the fall colors. (we should go together)LOL

Thank you for your support. I live in the country just outside the Triangle Area in NC. And the hilly (not hillbilly lol) country is lovely. My son and his wife live in Tampa. I love Tampa. It's beautiful.

I'm not sure how it CAN'T be part of RA. It's so hard not to get down when you're frustrated with limitations and pain!

I wish I had a beach! :)

So sorry that you have been feeling blue. I definately think that it is part and parcel with the RA. It is hard not to feel mentally down when your body feels that way so often. Glad to hear that you are trying to put a postive spin on it though. Enjoy your drive and maybe take some pics for us.

Oh I do believe it's from the RA. Here in PA we have had 2 months of rain and flooding. I count on the sunshine for my vitamin D and when it gets low I really feel the blues. Admiring God's work of art is one of my favorite picker uppers! Hope you feel better real soon.
