Most times when I have a doctor appointment, my husband is either working or busy with something else. A couple days ago, he went with me to the eye dr apt and that was a big mistake! I had him take me because they normally dialate my eyes. This time they did not, but I was there for 2 hours undergoing different tests. I have Sjogrens and they were testing for different things to find out how much this has effected my eyesight. I need new glasses. My insurance only covers glasses every 2 years and I have 6 months to go. So almost $500.00 for a pair of glasses. He is livid! He was getting so mad just because I was there for so long. He thinks I was just waiting for the doc to see me. I told him about all the tests that were being done, but that didn't matter. He is the type that thinks, if it's broke, lets just "fix it". Of course, you can't just fix RA and all the things it brings with it. I love him but I understand why so many with RA are single. Thanks for letting me rant on here! I know I can really reveal my feelings on here and not be looked down upon. Thanks again and I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter!
If the shoe were on the other foot, what would your husband think if you threw tantrums at the time and money? At least the eye doc apt is over for now and cheap plastic dark shades from the doc will be the order of the day next time.

You're doing all you can to take care of your health, sorry you had to go through this. I go to almost every appointment alone because of the judgement, unless my two "angels" can come with me.
