It's cold.
And dark.
Most parts of the country, the weather has been pretty schizy, swinging from from warm to cold and back again. There's snow and ice to contend with, whether shoveling, sweeping, or slipping.
Holidays in full swing: no matter how much we try to not overdo, there's always another errand to run, party to drop in at for "just a minute", etc.
Work & school schedules are disrupted, leading to less-regular meals, sleep, exercise. Routines in general are disrupted.
It's kind of a wonder any of us are still on our feet and functional.

the weather on long island has been a bit crazy recently. sure that's not helping. at least school is over for now, and i'm only taking one class this spring. seriously feeling joints i didn't know existed :/
