i took my mtx last night like a good girl. and had a very good night's sleep.
i had a very busy week ended with a very relaxing friday and saturday. friday i ran to the grocery store - nothing else. yesterday i went to the mall and had dinner with my brother and his fiancee - total of 3.5 hours out of the house. not much, right?
so why am i so damn ouchy today? what's up with that? i didn't eat anything out of the ordinary (california pizza kitchen. my first time there and it was pretty darn good). no strange foods that i don't normally have. but omfg my joints. i can feel each individual knuckle and whatever joints are in my hands. my wrists and neck and ankles hurt so much. and, of course, my hips. ow ow ow ow.
thankfully all we're doing today is more relaxing and dinner at my ex-step-mother's house to give holiday gifts to my sisters. but still. ow.
what other 'what's up with that?' moments are you all having today?

temp here in north central Texas has dropped 20 degrees since 7 a.m. (now 2 p.m.) and is headed to 25 degrees tonight - 64 yesterday, jezz
the weather is playing 'ole billy ned with hips and knees - am going to start the freplace here in a few minutes and huddle up for the evening with some old movies (Maisie (Ann Sothern from the 40's era))

additionally, there weren't any tomatoes on my pizza. so there's that too.
ros, i knew i should have had something with kale.
It's cold.
And dark.
Most parts of the country, the weather has been pretty schizy, swinging from from warm to cold and back again. There's snow and ice to contend with, whether shoveling, sweeping, or slipping.
Holidays in full swing: no matter how much we try to not overdo, there's always another errand to run, party to drop in at for "just a minute", etc.
Work & school schedules are disrupted, leading to less-regular meals, sleep, exercise. Routines in general are disrupted.
It's kind of a wonder any of us are still on our feet and functional.

the weather on long island has been a bit crazy recently. sure that's not helping. at least school is over for now, and i'm only taking one class this spring. seriously feeling joints i didn't know existed :/
