I have suffered from migraines for many years. I finally determined that they were caused by work stress, weather and tyramine sensitivity (foods like nuts, cheeses, lunch meats etc). Now, the interesting thing I've noticed since I started mtx is that previous food triggers don't seem to cause any migraines now. (I am very tentative in testing this.)So I have two questions: 1. Were my migraines an early RA warning? and 2. I realize I am often that small percentage, but is there anyone else who has experienced this? Thank you.
I also battled incredibly bad all over body itching without a rash which went away when meds started. I am on MTX and PRED. As I taper off PRED I have noticed my itching coming back on my 5mg (lower dose days). Interesting.
