we finally got a appointment for the pulmonary tests but Ill have to wait untill the follwing wednesday to get the results. in the meantime Im still coughing my head off! they did give me symbicort inhaler to help but its not helping much, just jittery. Ive been so grouchy and tired of all this . I know it will pass but not fast enough ! optimistic is not in the cards today. thanks for listening !!

it's okay to be grouchy. It gets old when we have to do test after test and worry about something else popping up. Hope your test goes well and they find something to help you feel better soon.

so glad you got that test approved and can get it done! Finding out what the booger is will bring you closer to getting rid of it! Just keep your hat hung on that.

Thanks for all the encouragement everybody ! I called Rheaumy this morning for steriods to help me through untill we get done with all these appointments. couldnt get out of bed this morning, 2 vicadin later.. Im feeling much better, but the trade off is iching like crazy from that , so now I need benadryl for that... its a mad crazy life !!!!!! Im finding ways to enjoy those moments when I feel okay enough, I through my hands up and laugh and say....are you kidding me ???????? when I was talking to Rheaumy ,( actually the nurse)..she told me my Mri tests were read for last week and I have more erosions in my hands than last time. theres a big surprise...another thing to laugh about...maybe the mtx wasent working at all. you all are so great, I just thank God for giving me an outlet and supportive people to help me through this crazy life. many Hugs !!!

I found some good information on RA lung issues - and the methotrexate can cause and add to the problem so it's good you went off it.

I've prayed for you, too. Even if it is RA related, remember, you needed to find it and get it treated so it will get better. God heals, sometimes on His own, but often through talented medical hands.

This is my first post! RA or the meds?? (been on them all except Rituxan and Remicade....starting Actemra tomorrow for first infusion), anyway, RA or the meds have left me with RA nodules in one lung and Athsma. I had the horrid cough that you are describing for years. (had RA now for almost 30 years). Symbicort didn't do much for me either but I did get releif and still do from Singulair. I take it at night to help the night cough but find it helps really all day too. Ask the Pulm. Doc about Singulair. Hugs! Julie

Im so sorry....if its not one thing its another! I have a horrible migraine today along with an RA flare...it seems its always something.
