Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...

Which of course happened because we had to tear down an aquarium in record time today. I am so sore.
I felt crappy last night & into this morning because of the weather, but then add in hours of lifting, going up & down steps, etc.
I finally had to succumb to a nap. Woke up & could barely move. Went straight to the shower. Stretched while I was in there.
I hate being reminded that I just can't do what I used to. Even though I surprise myself with the strength I still have. My muscles & connective tissues quickly remind me that they are not "fit".
And to think I used to spend 10+ hours a week weight liftung, 6 hours of cardio and a very physically demanding job. **sigh**
Hope you feel better soon.
Sniffling a little tonight...I am not (repeat not) getting my son's cold. I refuse.
I asked my Rheumy if he would write me a script for a White Sand 85 degree beach, he smiled and said he would but that once I adjusted to that, the pain would come back.... CRAP......
