I've never tried it, but knew a guy who swore by it. Said it worked great for him.

I don't know if the toe deformity will be affected by any meds though. Do you wear orthotics? Best of luck with this.

My second toe became deformed before I was diagnosed with RA but hasn't got worse since I have been on MTX. I haven't had to go to a biologic or anything else yet. Good luck.

my feet swelled so much because of neuropathy related to my RA that my toes "separated" between the 2nd and 3rd toe. they looked like a "V" on both feet. Now my toes are starting to curl up. I try to stretch them out but I do notice some deformity in my toes. My Dr. doesn't seem overly concerned with it and it isn't impacting the way I walk. I was told to wear more supportive shoes for vasculitis in my heel, which should help my toes.
No more high heels for me, but I'm okay with that.
These issues are in relation to the disease not the medication in my case.

My feet/toes were the one thing that red flagged my doctor enough to send me to a Rhuemotogist. My hands swelled & froze but one dr never paid enough attention as he linked all my problems to my spine & neuropathy. As did I in ignorance.
Enough time passed untreated to cause growths on my big toes. They swell enough to cause overlapping.
There is a difference when swelling is under control.
