Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
But the most dangerous thing about throat nodules is that if they get too big, they can close up the throat and you can have your breathing obstructed. That happened to my cousin, and she was in the ER and she actually got hypoxia so badly, her heart stopped. They were able to restart her heart, but now she has a permanent trache.
So please take these nodules seriously. If you feel like you cannot breath, get to an ER with someone else driving. I think we just need to get the whole disease under control, which sometimes is not the easiest thing to do.
Had no clue they were related. Had surgery on my vocal chords and my sinuses. Had several nodules in my sinuses as well.
I have to go back and have my throat checked again soon.
This disease has no limits as to what it wants to attack ....GRRRR...
Hope your throat gets better soon, but if not you should definitly have it looked at.
Hugs,
Missy
I went to the er yesterday for a migraine, I also told them to check my luck, so they did a ct scan for the head ache and x-rays for my lungs.
my voice goes horse a lot lately, and my lungs hurt, did they do a scan to find the nodules
hope you feel better soon
